John McCain 2008
New Media Communications worked in tandem with a strategic team of designers, political experts, and online strategists to develop the website for presidential candidate Senator John McCain. The backend to the site included a custom built extranet allowing the campaign to manage volunteer activities, reporting, communications and project collaboration with minimal effort. The campaign also had unique satellite sites for states and McCainSpace pages allowing users to create their own unique user space and network with other supporters.
Jeb Bush '00 and '98
As one of the pioneers of online campaigns, New Media Communications developed Jeb Bush’s 1998 gubernatorial campaign website. The website not only allowed users to learn more about Jeb, but also included early viral tools that allowed users to volunteer and recruit friends. Bush defeated his opponent, Lt. Governor Buddy MacKay, and went on to become the first Republican governor in Florida’s history to serve a second term.
Bush-Cheney '04 and '00
GeorgeWBush.com was the hub of a successful campaign that tapped the interpersonal potential of online communications on a massive scale. Among the campaign activities planned, promoted and tracked online:
  • More than 6 million email activists and 1.4 million team leaders took an active role in the re-election of the President.
  • Volunteers contacted 500,000 voters by phone, mail or in person using online "Virtual Precinct" tools.
  • More than 400,000 people wrote letters to editors, 105,000 called talk shows and 35,000 "walked the vote" for the President.
  • When all was said and done, 20 million people visited GeorgeWBush.com between its launch and the election.
The website and related online tools created by New Media made a critical difference in the election's outcome.
The New York City 2004 Host Committee for the Republican National Convention
As a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization created to help host the 2004 Republican National Convention, the NYC Host Committee was responsible for organizing the welcome and execution efforts of the 2004 Republican National Convention. Working in conjunction with monster.com, New Media created a site that allowed volunteers to register, find information, and purchase convention-related merchandise online.
DeVos for Governor
Dick DeVos is a successful businessman with a vision for a better Michigan. New Media is playing a role in his 2006 bid for governor with a comprehensive online campaign plan that includes an information-rich website. Beyond introducing DeVos and outlining his positions on key issues, the site features supporter opinions, offers RSS feeds, provides media-ready resources, automates a number of key campaign functions, and offers multiple action center links and a password-protected second information tier for supporters who provide additional log-in information to the campaign.
